With the newly launched Lamborghini URUS, all eyes are on the other supercar makers for their answer for their version of the Super SUV's.
Detroit Auto Show was where Fiat Chrysler bossman Sergio Marchionne decided to throw some light on Ferrari's take on the Super SUV's. According to the reports by Auto Express he said "I've seen the car when i was in Europe eight days ago. So we are working on the vehicle but it's not finished".
If the prototypes are already near finishing stages, i bet we'll get to see the car, well as soon as 2019/2020?

He also said that “has to drive like a Ferrari.” He also refers to it as an FUV, for “Ferrari Utility Vehicle”. Utility for Ferrari owners being carrying a LV Duffel bag in the boot and adaptive suspension to drive around the notorious roads of Monaco? Jokes apart i think it's safe to assume that it will be ridiculously fast with out of the world bulges on them and will cost a ton of cash.
But how fast is ridiculously fast? Well, if they need bragging rights they better make it faster than the Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio which holds the Nurburgring Lap Time Record for a Production SUV and more oomph than the 641bhp Lambo URUS.
Engine wise it might be a turbo derivative from the California T or the GTC4 Lusso. But it would be a tasty proposition if Ferrari could manage to plonk the V12 perhaps? Ofcourse the V12 depreciates more than the V8 but when you have enough cash to buy these superexotics, does one really care? :)
Let's wait and watch.
