New Valve springs came in today

I finally received the new valve spring today. There PAC.1218 valve spring to go with the cam that I already installed in the motor last weekend. I'm hopping to install these by this weekend and having a new video out also. I will also make a comparison of the sound at Idle and rev like in the part one cam swap post.

Are these a beehive style spring or regular ?

Yes they are beehive

A lot of tge crate engine guys around here run beehive springs as an upgrade. They say they change them every 10 races. But crate engines are supose to make the sport more affordable lol.

Ok for my application it will probably outlast my motor. Are you talking about LS base crates? I know there is still lots of places that don’t allow LS base engines

No the 602 and 604 crates. Usra allows the ls based 525 crate butonly a handful of people run them. Your springs will last forever i was more saying they were an upgrade. I worded it poorly.
