Next month (June 23 and 24th), during the Dingman Collection Sale (Hampton, New-Hampshire, US), RM Sotheby's will sell this superb black 1939 Lincoln-Zephyr Convertible Sedan for about $200,000. True beauty... I love the design of the post-war cars, the lines are so beautiful, great inspiration...
History of the Lincoln-Zephyr
Lincoln produced the Zephyr between 1936 and 1940 as a mid-size luxury car. It was conceived by Edsel Ford, son of Henry Ford and president of Ford Motor Company, and designed by Eugene Turenne Gregorie, American yacht designer and automobile designer.
With its V-12 engine, the Lincoln-Zephyr was unique in this year, only 302 were built. In 1939, Lincoln maded some upgrades with a redesigned grilles, bumpers and doors.
