i'm a staunch lover of iron blocks so i kept the CA18DET in it. Raised the compression a bit and put arp head studs in the block. The turbo was of a GTir Turbo T28 with a .94 exhaust housing. Link ECU, screamer pipe. Bluebird flywheel and paddle clutch. Front mount dump pipe yada yada yada
Jeeez! So you're not messing around! How come you love the CA so much? I do love a good T28! How much power is it pushing? It'll have a good power to weight ratio :)
Iron blocks handle more boost and the SR20 has a silly rocker arm system. It made around 22kw at the wheels and weighed around 900kgs. Sold the car a few years ago. I built it in 2007-2009
