DAO is the venture capital 2.0 in the decentralised world.
Improving DAO and Governance models is a huge ongoing challenge for every decentralised community. Yes we can certainly learn from each other.
As @enforcer48 holding people accountable and while funding people who we can trust is something I learned.
Make people accountable.
The person who was supposedly working on the hardware wallet compatibility basically stopped working, but was still getting paid.
So the community called him out, but his responses were smug instead of apologetic. Eventually, the stakeholders withdrew support from the proposal.
It was a reputation suicide at a level that not only got the proposal unfunded, but he lost his consensus witness position as well. Broken trust of this level cannot be salvaged.
