"Bitcoin mining for God" is a good idea for churches, synagogues, mosques, etc. for religious groups that support missionaries in foreign countries. I can see XMR - Monero as the coin of choice to move donation funds (either earned through mining, or donated by members) to places like Zambia to avoid absurdly high remittance fees. It is a bit silly that a church would lie about their mining activity.
