Unforgettable Barranquilla (Colombia)' Yearly Carnival - Humanity Heritage Event for Everyone to Enjoy

A unique yearly event to attend to is the famous Barranquilla' Carnival (northern Colombia, considered the best city nowadays).

Barranquilla' Carnival , which happens yearly on February offers to locals and foreigners alike :

  • World' second largest fiesta

  • Length : Four days (during February every year)

  • Magnificent street parades, including the "battle of flowers"

  • Orchestras Festival, with the best international latin bands, competing for the "Golden Congo" (Carnival' main award)

  • Humanity' Heritage Event

  • Very friendly people and atmosphere, ( attention gents : ladies would invite you to the dancing floor and teach you how to dance "Vallenato" or "Cumbia" if you happy to accept them)

  • Half of the world’s inhabited continents are represented in the mix of cultures

  • Some of the events : Via 40, where the Battle of the Flowers, the Great Parade and the Great Fantasy Parade begin at 1pm; 17 Road for the King Momo Parade; 44 Road for the "La Guacherna" night parade; and Romelio Martinez Stadium for the Orchestras Festival and the crowning of the Carnival Queen, many verbenas, lots of traditional food, music and dancing. Public events are free.
