You may want to say something like "Hi" first instead of going straight to a question looking like you don't care about anything but info on how I managed to do what I do. That would be a great start, does not even only apply to me but to anybody you address and wish to get info from in the future.

  • How did I start my steemit account: I clicked "register an account" and proceeded to do what's requested. (a bit sarcastic I know) and then? I posted.
  • Did I promote my content: no.

Hi x2, I didn't want to be rude I was just direct, but yeah you're right! I could start in a different way. Thanks for your answer. Could you give any tips to someone who just started his steemit account? :)

Happy to see you realize that.
I can't really give you any tips since I am really new to this and I am simply posting content without anything (no promotion,no other platforms, nothing)
And there is so much different factors that come into play in this social media game that I can't give tailored advice.

The number one thing though I'd say is (consistency + content) if you have both I don't see how your channel could not grow.

First simply share stuff you like, then let it ride for a while before even considering various strategies. But we all start from a different stage at the end.

I can't help you out more past that point since even my following base is small and I have zero intention to focus on promoting anything to make it grow before quite some time. I first figure out a pace at which I am happy posting. That's just me. Find yours and enjoy :)

Thank you one more time. Wish you good luck with your account :)

You're welcome, no luck needed here though, I am not looking to grow specifically big, I am just sharing stuff I love. ;)

and that's the magic :)
