So friday night I change the passenger side of the valve spring.
Here is the old compared to the new springs
Guess which one are the new one haha
After last night I decides that my (custom) valve compressor tool needed some modification. So here is my version 2
There was a plate on top that I cut up and welded to the side for straight. It use to be a old bracket that I modified.
It work fine the first time I made it when using it on the bench, but in the truck not so much. It's good to have plenty of spare parts so I could test it before continuing tomorrow if the weather cooperates.
And I got the spare water pump ready to be swap in and added this fitting for the seam vent.
Have a good day Video will be coming later
Looks Good!
Hahaha. I was going to ask if you made a sloppy valve spring compressor but i see that is covered. Very nice.
Yep lol
Can you guess the next mods haha
No that’s already done lol I did post about it.

Oh damn it. Thats right. So new springs are in. I assume it slready has headers. Probably need to throw a tune on it then maybe rod bolts if you are gonna beat on it. Maybe pull the tranby and do a stall converter and shift kit. Maybe even new injectors if thr old ones are maxing out.
Its an old school manual 4 speed so I need to switch out the clutch. I was already closed on the injector but should be still good. I do have some decapt that are just waiting to get flow tested. I need to lock up the reared. The real awnser is TURBO lol
HELL yeah that thing is a 4 speed?! That’s sick! Badass c10 man!
