Trust us or you will accidentally kill your engine.
If you think that removing the car thermostat valve from your vehicle can solve all of its overheating issues, you are absolutely wrong. The job of a car thermostat is to maintain the engine's proper temperature, as we mentioned in our article of bad car thermostat symptoms.

The job of a car thermostat is to maintain the engine's proper temperature
As for the mechanics, it’s quite simple. A little capsule on the thermostat’s engine side is filled with wax which can contract or expand based on the coolant temperature. There is a pin that presses into the wax and around it is a spring in charge of preventing the thermostat valve from opening. When the temperature increases, the wax will melt inside the capsule and consequently, expands and pushes out the pin. The pin, which is kept inside a bracket affixed to the other end of the valve body, will push against the bracket to let the coolant in by opening the valve.

In case your engine is overheating, it’s better to take the car to a car maintenance center
Removing the thermostat valve from your vehicle, in any aspect, is not recommended since this can stop the car engine from getting its job done. A car engine is designed to operate at its maximum potential when it’s toasty and warm. The optimum operating levels implies that:
your engine hardware is at the best temperature and the engine oil is at the tip-top viscosity; as a result, it will generate less friction;
your charge (the mixture of fuel and air) is also ignited at the optimal temperature in order to extract the maximum bang;
and many other things.
Can engine work without thermostat?
Running an engine without a car thermostat will overcool your engine that can do serious harm to this part and worse still, can shorten the engine life by the rise in premature tear and wear of engine components. Therefore, in case your engine is overheating, it’s better to take the car to a car maintenance center to get the engine pressure checked.
