Let me put it like this - yes, indeed, they have market specifics, such as GX or ES - which are sold in US, mainly, but my point was that most of Lexus range until 2005 was pretty much rebranded, bland garbage. And I do not advocate even now calling all models "GREAT" and meaning that always they were good - CT is still remade garbage, ES is basically camry and GX/LX - I do not see the point of these lard boxes at all. On the other hand, what is really good - the RWD Lexus-only architecture, starting from 2005. GS450H for example, is one good reason to prove how solid it is, compared to the well esteemed business sedans - A6, 5er and E-Class. Price/performance as well as overall value is on par with aforementioned.
Not to mention LF-A - which was the showcase of all that is great at Lexus.
