In China government’s aid has paid off and the popularity of electric cars is growing rapidly. JATO Dynamics has published some new interesting data about the world’s electric car market’s changes during the last 9 months and the data shows that in China there have been more registrations for new electric cars than in all the other countries during the same period. The sales growth in China has been 142% compared to Europe’s 42%.
Tesla is still the number one in sales, but if they can’t solve the Model 3’s production problems really fast, the new number one will be one of the Chinese brands like BAIC, ZD or BYD. BAIC EC is already the most sold model before Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model S.
