#269 One Day, One Car

in #cars6 years ago

Today for the #269, let's stay in the UK with the version from 1969...

The car? The Aston Martin V8

This model was built for 20 years with an average of 200 cars per year.
Powered by the 5.3L 315 HP engine with 6 seconds to 100 km/h.

The Aston Martin V8 was 100% hand built and required 1200 man-hours to be ready for the market.

Did you know?

The V8 was featured in the James Bond movie in 1973...The living daylights.

It looks like the British muscle car... They don't have this kind of designs anymore...

Yeah definitely, you can clearly see the lines of the mustang / corvette with a British twist and ... There you have a British muscle car. I really love it.

I am glad that British cars have now their own style :) The new Jaguar's style is great! Aston Martin still keeps something from classics models!

Yes!! The Living Daylights was actually in the mid 1980s. I want to say 1985. I love my V8 Aston. Mine is a 1980 and they only made 50 that year from what I could tell. safe_image.jpg
