The car? The Mercedes-Benz Class G63 AMG
The manufacturer presented coming 2019 version of its luxury "Gelandewagen" at the Detroit Auto Show. It is going to be powered by 4.0 L V8 twin-turbo 577HP engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
For this new edition, AMG engineers have created "Cylinder Management" technological solution in order to adapt the power of the beast... and reduce fuel consumption. When the engine doesn't need full power, the cylinders are deactivated... From V8, it goes to V4...
The price of the machine will be released during the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The first G model prototype was created for the use of German army in 1973, and 6 years later it became available for public.

the most iconic mercedes! loved by celebs and often used in hollywood movies.
even after all those years they are still completely produced by hand.
i think the new facelift makes it less agressive, too bad!

This new G63 has a beautiful design with a luxurious interior too. 142,800 $ sound cheap for this 4wds.
I would not say cheap given what you actually end up doing with it. But that's just my opinion ;)
Few G63 will know the joys of mud. It's going to be more Central Park or an highway in Dubai. :-)
G Wagon! I have heard they are not the most comfortable to drive, but they look cool.
It's just so fun to look at though, indeed not crazy confortable and performances.... well, you don't buy that for its performances. lol
The 4x4 square though is one fun ride!
I drove the 2006 version and the vision is quite limited... Maybe on this tank, you don't need to have a full vision... just go through...
