Its no surprise that the factory Nissan Stagea suspension makes the car handle like a tank missing a track, lol. So its clear that if you want to really push the Stag that something needs to be done to get it on rails. While not wanting to build a “track only car” I wanted the stag to be able to be driven hard on the track if I wanted to while still be a good road car.

What I settled on was a set of HSD coilovers which bring the car closer to the ground and firms up the suspension, this also gives camber and damper adjustments. Coilovers may be a bit firm for some for on road use, but im fine with it after having a rock steady AE86, this is as soft as a pillow. I chose a set of adjustable rear toe and camber arms to assist with the alignment side of things and it also provides more settings outright that can be dialled into the car as it needed.
And finally I grabbed a whiteline rear sway bar which had made a world of difference as some of the RWD Stageas do not come with a rear sway bar at all. This one is from a R33 GTS-T skyline and bolted straight up without issues.

Overall im happy with the handling kit put together. Its quite effective at making the Stagea feel more like a race car than a rudderless boat adrift at sea…. Not that I mind the drift ;P The car has been on many journeys along winding roads to test the suspension set up and boy can she turn now. She has quite a bit of handling for such a large vehicle and I have to say I do enjoy the looks I get when a family wagooon out steers many of the rice rockets scooting about.
