The muffler actually is not stainless steel but I bought it off of a guy who bought it new in like 2002 and had it in his garage for 15 years so I'm hoping it'll live for 2-3 years minimum.

No at some point I had to cut expenditure cuz everything just kept piling up. I want to go for a stainless solution at some point especially cuz the stock muffler is way too toned down for the metal cat and headers in combination with the relatively loud valvetrain. Thing is as you'll see in the next part the current system is welded into one piece so headers and x-pipe (plugged), x-pipe welded to stainless pipes welded to cat welded to pipes and the pipes welded to the muffler. So switching the muffler means it's an exhaust out job.
