This particular auction is for a legitimate Spirit R Type A version of the RX7 FD. However this one has had it's fair share of repairs, I'm not sure if it was in an accident or perhaps just needed a paint refresh but if you look at the auction sheet you can see the front and rear doors and fenders were replaced for new items. Very strange! It's caused the vehicle to be graded as an "R" Would you still pick this up due to the fact that it is a special edition?

Standard apart from a muffler and a relatively strange front splitter, doesn't really suit the car without having the side skirts and bumper changed. Not my first choice.

This is probably the most value for money buy, a Type RB version with the red interior trim. The passenger seat looks a little worse for wear, it does however have a decent shifter, wheel and gauges. The headlight vent looks like it needs a hint of paint. Missing the rear spoiler and side indicator, It's a manual so I'd buy this one and fix it up!

I have seen those weird wheels somewhere, I think on a model kit, probably some special Mazda Speed thing? Spirit R looks really good of course and is worth a packet in mint condition.

But you know what makes you cool.. the fact that you didn't give up. You still want to bring it back to a nearly perfect condition. This is what I call passion!
Haha I was just tired and annoyed I didn't have an RX7 so I bidded on every car for 3-4 pages on the auction site. I redeemed myself with my near mint Type RS MANUAL! :)
