RE: We joined the EV revolution

in #cars3 years ago

I will happily write more posts about the car. I was just saying to one of the other commenters that my wife's company have chargers in their basement, plus they are close to our house, hence we've not installed our own charging point yet.

Go for it, you just have to think a little more carefully about trips. Is it possible to charge whilst shopping, working or if on a long journey, where are the public chargers, are they working?

Zap-Map is the must-have app by the way... I'll write up about these things, as soon as I can.

The charging infrastructure is improving all the time. I see them all over the place, but have not looked into how you get access to them all. I will read up before we make our decision.

Cheers

This is something I should really write about. Yes, it is improving but one thing that a lot of people will hate, especially if they are not fond of apps on phones, there are a lot of them, too many. However I have now whittled it down to less than a few. Instavolt, BP Pulse, Mer, Osprey and GeniePOint... ok that is five lol!

The ChargePoint card is very useful as that is compatible with two of the setups I've listed above plus many will take just a contactless payment.

Hey @nicklewis, here is a little bit of BEER from @steevc for you. Enjoy it!

Did you know that you can use BEER at dCity game to **buy dCity NFT cards** to rule the world.
