These last days have been filled with studying for my upcoming exams, so I totally forgot to write the final part of my coverage of the Classic Cruisers car meet which took place last Saturday.
Luckily, my friend @samuraikrabbe whose recent exposure to Steemit I may be held responsible for, texted me to remind me that part 4 of my post series had not yet been written, as seen in the conversation below:
For all you non-Norwegian readers: Endelig is the Norwegian word for finally.
As I've already covered most of the cars on display (at least those I got decent photos of), this post would initially be very short. However, to achieve a post-length which might avoid that you don't get bored, I have included a few photos of some interesting cars I spotted walking around in Trondheim a few days later, as well. I was the one walking, though, not the cars.
Let's start with this Ford F100 from 1970, which was sporting just the right amount of patina.
Upvotes to anyone who can identify the black car next to it.
This Mustang was featured in a previous post, but I felt the need to include a picture with a higher dynamic range, to expose that amazing dark chrome finish on the wheels.
Just look at that!
As there were a lot of cars I didn't take proper photos of, I hope this half-heartedly snapped overview photo will bring some justice to those cars not explicitly featured.
It's been a while since I've seen a fourth generation Pontiac Firebird, and if I'm not mistaken, this is nothing less than a 2002 Trans Am Collector's Edition. It carries that smooth body style present on so many American cars from the '90s and early 2000s, and with it's 5.7L LS1 engine, it's pretty much a slightly shorter, more aggressive-looking Corvette C5.
Three days later, the hot weather made it unbearable to sit inside, so I went for a walk in the city of Trondheim. I was pleased to see a few enthusiast cars, like this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette.
My favorite sighting, however, was this super clean Toyota Supra, rolling on a shiny set of Work Equips!
Here is a side view as well.
Lastly, I spotted this BMW M2, as well as a Corvette C6 convertible with a color scheme similar to a C4 Grand Sport, which I didn't manage to snap a good photo of.
This might be my last car post for a while. I might have a few programming projects to write about in the not too distant future, so stay put for those!
Have a great weekend!
