The new Megane from Renault is now the fully electric Megane E-Tech, and wil be available from the middle of next year.
The EV40 is fitted with a 40 kW battery, which offers a range of up to 186 miles, and the EV60 has a 60 kW battery with a range of up to 292 miles, and can get you from 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds.
Thanks to the ultra slim battery and a specifically designed EV chassis, the wheels are pushed out, giving you more room in the cabin.
To make the vehicle quieter, it has a special layer of sound absorbing foam.
Refinements include a Harmon Kardon sound system and the Open R dashboard.
Charging to 100% takes around 8 hours with a home charger, and rapid charging provides around 124 miles of range in just 30 minutes.
It's also compatible with the vehicle-2-grid two way wallbox, which enables you to sell any unused electricity back to the National Grid.
Prices are yet to be confirmed, with more information to come.
