January has been a busy old month for us, as we travelled a fair way to attend a number of car events – and one of them was also a brand launch in Windsor! (v. posh, lol!)
Ben and travelled down to attend the launch of Jaecoo in the UK – you may remember their sister brand Omoda launched in London last year, so it was rather nice to see the premium automotive brand of Chery too.
As with Omoda, the UK Launch of Jaecoo was a swish affair that showcased their first car to arrive in the UK – the 7, and this comes as a petrol or a hybrid. Nice!
As mentioned, this is a premium brand, and they pack a lot of car in for the money - £29,435.00 for the entry trim – the Deluxe – and £32,850.00 for the Luxury trim, both fitted with a 1.6L 7DCT engine. The hybrid is only available in the Luxury trim. It’s a plug in, has a 1.5L engine, and costs £35,065.00.
