It’s always nice to get invited to things isn’t it!
Well this week, Ben and I got ready to head over The Pennines once again to attend the launch of the new Subaru Crosstrek. The fab team run by Brian Wheeler at Subaru UK hosted us to a lovely evening at Rudding Park, before whisking us away to Wharfedale Grange for a driving day.
As we prepared to get cracking with the off road track, Ben and I were introduced to our driving guide – it was none other than Pat from Road Wars! For those of you unfamiliar with this long running TV show, seasons 1-3 followed members of the Thames Valley Police elite Pro-Active Unit.
Pat joined us on this immersive exploration of the rugged terrain and helped sculpt the challenging trail we were on, making sure we could push the limits of adventure in this versatile crossover SUV in the safest and best way possible (so yes, the trail was hard but not too hard, lol!)

That looks like fun. I've never done much off-road driving, but the skills could be useful even if the car cannot do that much for you. There will be people who really need it.
It really was fun! I'd never done off roading before I started helping Ben with the channel, and I think he taught me well :)
