WHAT HAVE I DONE.

in #cars7 years ago

Well if my followers remember about a month ago my son and I started rebuilding a 1993 nissan 240sx. Me not being very fluent in this, to say the least I was a little concerned. But what the hell, I mean the cars not running so how much damage could we do.

Well if you remmeber the first section that we went to work on was the suspension. This really was not very difficult, really just swapping parts out.

So we made it past that. Hardest part was the coilovers. Those of you that do not know adjustable coilovers allow you to adjust the ride height. This was tough getting it to sit leval. Proud to say that we got it leval.

As you can see, it now sits pretty low to the ground. Lower than I woukd have like it buts its his build.

Well yesterday we decided to pull the engine out so we could get the engine bay cleaned up and ready for paint. This my friends was not an easy task. I mean there is only 4 bolts to it but all the damn wiring and everything else. To say the least after about 7 hours and alot of busted knuckels its out.

When we started this project I was not for sure that this was for us, but we have learned alot. We have come a long ways and most of all we have made good memories .

Next post new engine install. Going to be a few months (new engine is being saved up for)

Can't wait to see it when it's done

Good luck with the resto. Any idea on what engine you're going to use?

2jz for now, unless I change my mind, thats alot of power for a 16 year old. But for sure it will be a 2jz or a 1jz. Thanks for the comment.
