Who invented the first car?

The cars in the era that we live in is something usual for everybody.
We see them everywhere and we use them every day.
But my question is: who invented the first car that led to something that we use everyday and maybe some of us can`t leave without?

Well I red some articles and got to a conclusion that the person who invented the first car was a Karl Benz from Germany.
Many suggest that he created the first true automobile in 1885/1886.This question does not have a straightforward answer because the history of the automobile is very rich and dates back to the 15th century when Leonardo da Vinci was creating designs and models for transport vehicles.
