2019 Mercedes-Benz A class Preview!

Hello Steemit it’s me again!
This time i would like to talk to you about the new Mercedes-Benz A class. Since the first day of the old A class was introduced i always have been a fan, i liked the medium form factor that's a great mid point between a large car and a small city car, making it the best fit for a lot of situations.
It was as i said, old and in dire need of a redesign, thing that did not happen since 2012, 6 years ago. In that time the competition, mainly Audi, Volkswagen and Renault, really upped their game, taking the crown of the A class when it came to design and technology. All of that seems to have changed with the new 2019 A class introduced today.
In terms of design, as you can see here, the car is arguably the best in its class, maybe tied with the VW Golf in my opinion. When it comes to Technology, Mercedes have introduced a dual touchscreen layout, making the car look very modern and clean. 17c833_082.jpg
The new A class is based on a brand new platform, since the wheel to wheel distance has become bigger, this means the new model should be more confortable, we might see this platform being used for a new Renault car in the future.
The car also has every feature from Mercedes’ autonomous pack, which for now means adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist. One feature they are really proud of is the new voice control, according to mercedes this works very well and lets you control almost everything in the car, but we need to be skeptical since no voice system in a car besides Carplay or Android Auto has done a good job processing our voices.interior-a-class-06.jpg
Now a more subjective segment, i think this car looks damn great and with the upgraded tech package should be in front of most cars in its class, the only thing that would change my opinion is if its a lot more expensive than something like the golf or the A3 that offer a lot for the entry price and even more when you add just a few updates. Anyway, it's a mercedes, so at least in Europe, the 3 armed star logo is more than enough for Mercedes to sell millions of cars.

Thats it for today! Thank you for reading!
