In the 1960s and 1970s, Lincoln produced cars so exclusive and so majestic that Rolls-Royce cars looked like poor provincial relatives to Lincolns. I don't know how it came about that Lincoln now only produces cars that you have to climb stairs to get into? I really miss in Lincoln's offer cars of the class e.g. BMW 5, Mercedes S, or Audi 4(5), Lexus LS, not to mention such sexy cars as BMW 8 coupe, Mercedes SL, Lexus LC 500 etc... (It's a shame for America that the Barbie doll drives a Mercedes and not a Lincoln, hihihi)
Why does one of the oldest and most iconic brands in the world offer only painfully boring (in my opinion) SUVs and even the last Continental has not had a successor? The landscape of the automotive world is getting poorer because of this. (Ford, do something about it, please!!!)
I know that the market has changed, that people prefer SUVs, but a hot coupe is always good for the brand's image. And, as you can see, I'm not the only one who misses the coupe by Lincoln. A computer graphic designer present on Insta under the name @jlord8 played around with photoshop and created a visualization of a modern Lincoln Mark IX based on the latest 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse.
