Mercedes is launching cars with additional turquoise lights (for the time being in the US). The turquoise lighting is designed to inform other road users that the car is driving in autonomous driving mode. The new feature applies to the S-Class and EQS models, for which the company has obtained a third-level autonomous driving certificate in the states of Nevada and California. Mercedes' "Drive Pilot" system can drive the car itself at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, keeping the car in its lane, distance from the vehicle in front, recognizing road signs and being able to perform an evasive manoeuvre on its own. However, the driver must be ready to take control of the vehicle at all times. The turquoise lights have been tentatively approved in California for two-year testing, and in Nevada they will be fully legal in 2026.
I don't know if that makes sense, but it looks cool.
I also think that it improves visibility in general.
It will look like a Christmas tree 😀
hihi :) maybe a little...
Interesting idea.
The question is, will it catch on?
As long as people are unaccustomed to self-driving cars, it makes sense.
I don't know if it's better to warn others that it's the man driving the car :)
Or is it better to emergrncy light on the roof, like the police?
LOL 😆👍

Witchcraft!
It is a demon that needs to be slayn! Or slayed!
Where's the demon Slayer? Magic swords?
Or is it John Connor and skynet?
Definitely don't appreciate this pro robot content. Although that's nice the pretty blue light means the machine is trying to kill others on the road...
Thou shalt not make a thinking machine or a machine in the likeness of the human mind!
Orange catholic Bible quote? Most likely butchered...
May this beast be slayened or slayed or whatever before it damages the countryside....
