Sony and Honda have formed a new company, "Sony Honda Mobility", to jointly develop electric cars. The first model, the Afeela, was unveiled at CES last year. This year, the car was shown in the form of a very close production version, which is expected to start production in 2025. During a presentation at CES 2024, Sony Honda Mobility President and CEO Izumi Kawanishi took the car to the stage by controlling it with a PS5 controller. Deliveries to the U.S. will begin in 2026 but later this year, it will be possible to drive the Afeela virtually in the new version of Gran Turismo 7. The real Afeela will be powered by two motors of 241 hp each, powered by a 91.0-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery with a charge of up to 150 kW.

The interior is amazing.
Yes, and I will say that I like it better than the one in Tesla.
Honda - Sony... A very interesting combination.
I wonder who will be the first to make a car that will have a big screen instead of a windshield 😆
It's not that impossible.
Very elegant design.
Yes, it is "modest" but elegant.
Honda has just pulled out of its partnership with GM.
It seems to me that it makes more sense to work with Sony.
da fuq? This is wild. I'm here for it thought. DualSense ready to go on my end.
I won't be surprised if in the near future only artificial intelligence will be able to drive a real car, and real intelligence will only be able to drive an artificial car on PlayStation :)
