A woman in Spain has to deal with the law after uploading her action video to drown a cat inside a washing machine.
The 23-year-old who lives in the town of Villarubia de los Ojos, south of Madrid, was furious when the cat tried to marry his pet cat.
"This is what happened to a male cat that hurt my pet cat," the woman said through her Instagram account.
In the video entitled "Gatolavadora" which is roughly the meaning of "Cat Wash Machine" it, the woman sounded as she put the black furry cat into the washing machine.
"What's wrong with you? Are you going to stay there?" said the woman only identified the EMVM berinisia while recording the poor cat.
After that he turned on his washing machine. After the engine is spinning, the woman returns to the washing machine.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we will see if he can be dried in the sun, but it seems he still meows," he said.
"Apparently, it's true people say that cats have nine lives," he said as he saw the cat was still alive.
He then puts the soap into the washing machine and turns it back on. As a result the cat eventually died.
The video that was later uploaded to Instagram became viral and sparked a rally in a small town where the woman lived and worked.
In fact, more than 300,000 people signed the petition via the change.org website demanding law enforcement to impose sanctions on "cat killer psychopaths", as residents called the women.
The local police said Wednesday it was conducting an investigation but could not comment further as the investigation proceeded under the control of the court.
The woman is said to have come from the town of Mengibar, in the province of Jaen, Andalusia.
This furore made her brother appear in social media and insisted he had not met his sister for a long time.
Meanwhile, the PACMA political party insists it will prosecute the woman to be sentenced to prison in order to be an example for others.
Under Spanish law, such crimes are punishable by a maximum of 1.5 years in prison. However, for those who only once did the court usually sentenced probation.
