Hi everyone! I didn't have much time to post lately, but here I am with a super cute story!
About one week before christmas, I was going to the grocery store. It was late in the afternoon, and there was not much sun left in the city. I was walking in a little street so, when I noticed a black "thing" in the middle of the road. A car was driving into it, and I suddenly realise it was a cat. I just ran on the road, and luckily the car slow down and the cat moved. I tried to follow the poor little thing, who looked pretty sick, but she was so afraid she just hide somewhere I couldn't go. I waited a long time, finally the street was empty, and suprisingly, the cat began to follow me. So I just began to come back home, and still, she followed me to the main road, and when car began to pass, she panicked, and jump into my arms. So here I was, coming home with this cat. She has a tattoo, so at first I thought she was just lost. Nest morning I went to the vet, and there, another surprise. She was a "free cat". In france, a free cat is a cat who live in the street, but belong to an association which provide for him. However, her association was...in the other side of france. We have no idea how she find herself in my city, but it seems like someone take her from the street and moved with her, then abandonned her. We searched, but no one was looking for her, and she was awfully neglected. She has calicivirus, anemia, and she obviously been beaten. She's been here for two months now, and she still afraid of everything and everyone, but with our love she's getting better everyday.
Now she lives with us, and the association agreed to give us her paper, so she is officially in our family :)
I named here Samarra, from an old fable I like :) She now can rest with her little sister, Satie, my first cat :)
