Beautiful cat story! We have 3 cats at our house - all rescues. My oldest (Bijou) is 18 at least. Our oldest one (Tessie) died just a few weeks ago and she was at least 19.

Yes, It's good to have long years with our pets, but we so miss them when they are gone. Each has a separate personality - just like humans.
