well... even the whitepaper calls steem a "lottery"...
in all fairness, facebook controls the reach of any given post. they have sophisticated algorithms that can detect when a post is promotional... and they bury them unless you PAY THE MONEY
the issue is more the assumption that she would benefit the platform... i think it was pretty far fetched... but it doesn't really matter in the end
