RE: CATS in RVA (Richmond, VA)

in #cats7 years ago

Oh, they are so cute! My cat was born in my garden. Her mom was a feral cat and I took the kitten inside as it was winter. She would come in and eat and feed them and then want out. I tried to keep her overnight - what a mistake! But, we kept the kittens and had the mother fixed.

Wow, that sounds cool she came to you, this kitten ..the youngest feral cat around here will not come within 3 to 4 feet of you only when she is hungry. Otherwise further away from you as she is scared. That's nice you took care of them. This one kitty and Light are both fixed as well. They have a trap and release program for feral cats here to keep the population down.

I lived in San Antonio when I got her. The kittens were rescued by me. The mommy came in to eat and nurse them. (surprisingly) then out again!

That's great! They have it rough out here.
