Last year I went to Romania to visit my mom at the beginning of March. Two weeks after my arrival the craziness around the Covid measures started and so I couldn't travel anymore. We could only walk for exercise in the same neighborhood within a few km radius.
That neighborhood is one of the old communist ones, built for the workers, made of many ugly grey buildings. Fortunately, around the area where my mom lives and where I grew up, there are still a few areas with houses and gardens, with cute streets.
So that's where I went for walks every day during the house arrest uhm, lockdown measures, looking especially for cats, flowers and anything else I could find beautiful to nourish my soul.
After a few weeks, I started to make friends with some of the cats, learned their favorite places where they hang out and discovered so much beauty in the middle of an overall grey neighborhood.
Today's pic is of one of the orange tigers that I met a few times during my walks and that was so friendly to even let me pet him when he came close enough to me.
I've met so many gorgeous cats during those weeks, I'll share more about them in the coming posts.
