Do cats like flowers?

Flowers and cats.

This is a natural continuation of my post from yesterday. As well as something that is/was abundant in our garden.
There were flowers throughout the entire flowering periods. And cats - at any time.

And pictures? I'm not going to complain to you now about how many photos I've lost forever recently. Still, there are some left.
By chance.

Well, flowers and cats...

What do you think - do cats like flowers?

If you look at our cats, you will say that they don't care about flowers. And they are not interested in any garden at all. Of greatest importance to them is what is in the garden, i.e. what moves there (because anything that moves must be eaten).

And at the same time they have a zen garden in the garden - a special place where they lie down and sleep among the stems of wild flowers and herbs - I've been talking about that. So it may not be the beauty of the flowers, but the plants interest them and they enjoy their presence in the garden.

Perhaps without realizing it. Or they realize it more than us, the people who are usually not aware of anything.

Yes, our cats have their quirks (and they are big, like the quirks of every cat in existence), but I can assure you that they are only pretending not to be interested. I've already shown you how Blacky goes into their Zen garden, covers himself with plant seeds, and comes out very happy. I've even seen him smelling all those herbs and wildflowers around. So, they certainly appreciate them. Not from an aesthetic, but from a rational point of view. 😁

That is so beautifully written! 😻 Cats always carry a bit of magic with them and I guess that's what we can't express when we talk about them because they're magical creatures from another planet.

Cats prefer food covered with flowers,,🤗

Because they are soooo romantic, right 😂
They prefer food to flowers, that's for sure, but would accept food covered with flowers in front of humans.

In my experience and life with puffies, they love it! Admittedly certain species, but I know they enjoyed the bamboo shoots, especially abusing it in the morning when I won't get up and feed them at 5am. At the moment, the current kitty is only having fun by pecking at the pots, but hasn't shown any interest in nibbling yet.
Omg, how many cats are out there? :D

Yes, they love destroying potted flowers, I know that. But at the same time, I have seen cats smell such flowers (before destroying them) 😂.
We have 3 at the moment.

Iam not aure about cats, but my dog used to ate my mother's flowers! It seemed to enjoed those! Especially the green parts 😝

I don't currently remember having a cat that ate flowers (one ate cucumbers and had nibbled at all the cucumbers in my parent's garden). But I've had cats ruin all the potted flowers they could get their hands on.
