Cats are active and emotional animals that will approach life with much curiosity. Volatility in an environment can induce various reactions from a cat and it is best to closely monitor the behaviour of a household cat to deduce whether there are unknown factors that are causing stress or perhaps over excitement.
Cats can sometimes experience over stimulation, especially during their younger days. Depending on their circumstances, some may not have experienced the desired contact with other litter mates or mother and will exhibit slight signs of aggression during their play sessions. While this is not an aggression filled with malice, calming a situation is important to make sure a cat does not hurt or damage its surrounding.
