Calluses on their servant's fingers

A few weeks ago I had noticed something on the middle finger of my right hand. It was something like inflammation - red and with a changed structure. At first I didn't pay any attention to it, I assumed it would pass quickly. But this thing was stubborn and wouldn't go away. I started treating it with different medicated creams, tried everything. At night I would put cream on it and tape it up, but in the morning I would find it in the same condition. Nothing seemed to help this finger inflammation. And one morning, as I was making food for the cats, I noticed something. I often mix things together with bread for them and stir it with a spoon or fork into their bowl. In this activity, the most pressure fell precisely on this finger - the middle finger of the right hand. The same thing happened when pouring their food into their individual bowls. The greatest pressure is exerted precisely on this "sore" spot on the middle finger. And then it dawned on me. It was not a skin inflammation. It was a modification of the finger from pressure. A callus had begun to form on it. So, feeding the cats had caused calluses to form on their servant's fingers, lol 😹

Oh, wow... The delights of having, pardon me, taking care of cats.
Apart from all the money that must be spent!

Yeah, I never thought it would go so far as to be kind of hurt in my cat care/service. Well, the cat servant can always be hurt actually - even when you feed these beasts and they bite you, as they sometimes do. And the money spent... better not talk about it 😺
