"I have a long list of stories I could tell..."
We sat down and listened to about twenty women’s stories about their experience with sexual abuse and harassment.
You know... just a real light easy first conversation... totally normal, but for real I have never taken the time to sit down and listen to what it's actually like for women to go through life.
Unfortunately almost every woman who sat down to share with us would start by asking, "Which story?" One after another after another…
When we finished an interview the room was typically pretty quiet as the three of us sat processing what we just heard as the next woman was being sent in.
This is a conversation that needs to keep going and men need to take some time and listen to their family and friends stories. To look them in the eyes as they ask you, "Which story do you want to hear?"
I dream of the day my sisters will say, "What stories?"

Chilling post @joshuathomasgray. The world we live in, unfortunately it is a very common thing that is happening. Is it not amazing how as each new woman steps forward there are more behind her supporting her and saying ME TOO! Here's hoping with more people opening up their minds and hearts, some of this negativity that just seems to plague us humans will pass on by. More people like ones on here doing #ophumanangels and so many more are popping up on Steemit all with the goal to help other people feel better and feeling needed and wanted. I have to say with everyone stepping up we can eliminate so much hatred and fear. I cannot wait to see more of your film as well. You yourself can be listed as a #ophumanangel.
Yeah the more people tell stories the more undersdanding, empathy, and thus change will begin to happen. There is a lot of hope in our world as well 🔥!
