One of Cebu's recent attraction in addition to it's already abudant travel destinations is the strawberry farm located in the mountain baranggay of Maloray, Dalaguete in the Southern part of the province. The farm is 1.5 hectare with around 6000 strawberry plants. It also has a a number of vegetables grown there.
We went there using a family van. From the main road, you need to trek for about 8 minutes before reaching the farm.
Along the way, you will see vendors selling different kinds of crops and vegetables. They are so fresh!
The locals are friendly and willing to answer questions from tourists.
The entrance fee is 50 pesos. A kilo of strawberry is at 800 pesos (you can pick them yourselves) and their strawberry jams are at 180 per bottle.
You can enter from 8am to 5pm, every Saturday and Sunday.
