THE REASON BEHIND THIS CONTEST:
The 14th of this month makes it exactly the 9th year i lost my dad. He died from accident in 2009. and since then he has always been in my thoughts. i actually wrote a poem for him then though. HE WAS MY HERO, HE WAS MY LEGEND, HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND, HE WAS MY BROTHER, HE WAS MENTOR, HE WAS MY TEACHER, HE WAS MY EVERYTHING.

WHY THIS CONTEST?
I didnt get a chance to celebrate him when he was alive probably because he was always around me, so i didnt know his worth or value not until i lost him. so for my fellow steemians not to make this same mistake. i want you to write a poem about your dad to celebrate him while he is still alive. and if he is dead already, write him a poem to celebrate him and make him know you still remember him. i dropped a post about the incident not long. you can read it here..
