Happy Year of the Dog, Steemians!

Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year, starts on the 23rd of the 12th lunar month of the Chinese calendar. It last for about 23 days on the 15th day of the first lunar month in the following year in the Chinese calendar.

People clean their homes, put up red posters with poetic verses on their doors, hang Chinese New Year photos on their walls , and decorate their homes with red lanterns during the festival.

In the evening, people set off fireworks and firecrackers to cast away bad luck and bring good fortune.

Above all, the celebration reunites relatives. Many people visit their families at this time of the year.

Happy Chinese New Year 2018..

Wishing you the best balanced and healthy year!
