THE LOVE OF GOD is Wonderful (Extreme Love)
There are many paradigms and incorrect thoughts about love. Sometimes we concentrate more on words than actions and become too sentimental.
Then we get offended by anything and we need to be constantly told how much they love us. Of course, saying it is important, but demonstrating it is much better.
So we must learn to manage our feelings and sentimentality. In sports, for example, we see that there is rudeness among the players and many times the coach offers the instructions with direct, even aggressive words, but nobody takes it as a personal offense. On the contrary, in the church, where we are supposed to be convinced of the love of God and of our brothers, we are offended by anything. This must change as we learn about true love.
Jesus never directly said to someone "I love you", but He showed it with His life. What he did ask was for us to love one another as he has loved us, so he expressed with words and deeds that he loved us, even though he did not constantly embrace people.
Being affectionate and romantic is beautiful. At the beginning and at the end of the day I hug my wife Sonia. I say: "Come here, give me my hug." I love her and I show it to her with my words and actions. But sometimes our conviction about someone's love is so weak that we need more of words and love than concrete actions. Then we see wives who get depressed if the husband does not tell them constantly that he loves them and if they tell them, they ask for them to be sworn! This type of behavior reveals a great insecurity.
Do not drown your partner with demands, better dedicate yourself to love her and you will see that you will receive the same in return. Also, love without conditions or manipulations. In the church we know that the expression "I want to tell you something in the love of Christ" means that they will tell us something unpleasant for what we should prepare ourselves. Do not use the love of God to manipulate people, express what you should say in your name, not in the name of the Lord.
Jesus came to break the paradigm of love that must be expressed more with words than actions. He teaches us that the verb to love must be complemented with circumstantial like: fidelity, loyalty and respect. Spouses, parents, children, friends, we must all conjugate the verb love with those concrete expressions that make it a reality.
The love of God is eternal
Jeremiah 31: 3 clarifies: Jehovah manifested himself to me a long time ago, saying: With everlasting love I have loved you; therefore, I prolonged my mercy.
The love of God runs risks
Deuteronomy 8: 7-19 says: For Jehovah your God brings you into the good land, a land of streams, waters, springs and springs, sprouting in fields and mountains; land of wheat and barley, of vines, fig trees and pomegranates; land of olive trees, oil and honey; land in which you will not eat bread with scarcity, nor will you lack anything in it; earth whose stones are iron, and from whose mountains you will extract copper. And you shall eat and be satisfied, and bless the LORD your God for the good land that he has given you.
Take care not to forget Jehovah your God, to fulfill his commandments, his decrees and his statutes that I command you today; it does not happen that you eat and you are satiated, and build good houses in which you live, and your cows and your sheep are increased, and the silver and gold multiply you, and all that you have is increased; and your heart shall be proud, and you shall forget the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; who made you walk through a great and dreadful desert, full of burning serpents, and scorpions, and thirsty, where there was no water, and he drew water from the rock of flint; who fed you with manna in the wilderness, food that your fathers had not known, afflicting you and testing you, in the end to do you good; and say in your heart: My power and the strength of my hand have brought me this wealth.
But remember the LORD your God, for he gives you the power to do the riches, in order to confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as on this day. But if you forget the LORD your God and go after other gods, and serve them and bow down to them, I affirm it today against you, that you will surely perish.
Father loves, mother loves but the love of God is so wonderful
