Speaking of love and freedom I can not speak of anyone other than Jesus Christ, we can see how the apostle Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians in chapter 13 gives us a brief description of love.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
4 Love is long-suffering, it is kind; love has no envy, love is not boastful, it is not puffed up;
5 does not do anything wrong, does not seek his own, does not get irritated, does not hold a grudge;
6 he does not enjoy injustice, but he enjoys the truth.
7 He suffers everything, he believes everything, he expects everything, he endures everything.
8 Love never stops being; but the prophecies will end, and the tongues will cease, and the science will end.

Throughout the word of God we can find many stories where we see these characteristics but if God himself is love, we see how God throughout the Bible teaches us that special way with which he has loved his people and its creation despite all the times that creation has failed, however we note something from God "his faithfulness" which no matter what people have done is able to forgive any fault if the man repents heart and turns to Him, it is worth noting that God in his infinite love for man did not tire of seeking the redemption of this, for its essence in itself which is love, this we see in a well-known verse that expresses in if only the love of God on us.

"John 3:16 because in such a way I LOVE God to the world that sent his only begotten so that everyone who believes in him does not get lost anymore, has eternal life".

If we look for a story in the bible that illustrates the love that God has for us, we could undoubtedly take the story of the prophet Hosea and Gomer, Hosea demonstrated unconditional love for Gomer despite all the circumstances and attitudes of her. It reveals the tender love of God, comparable to that of the husband who forgives his unfaithful wife or that of the father who loves his rebellious son. While it is almost unrealistic to think that you can love that way today, we must remember that God does it every day with us. He treats us according to his love and not according to our facts.

1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as the propitiation for our sins.

Blessings.
