The Panama Canal is one of the most amazing structures in the world despite the fact that its construction is surprising not only for its functionalities but also for its usefulness and practicality. Today in this fabulous challenge #celestialchallenge I wanted to highlight its construction, here I present the "Panama Canal"
This work was initiated in 1880 by France which failed in the attempt of its construction, it was not until 1902 with the United States at the front that the construction began successfully, which was inaugurated on August 15, 1914, the primary objective of this construction was to shorten commercials with which not only reduce costs but also obtain higher profits, from its opening date said channel has been evolving and changing due to the evolution of ships today.
The Panama Canal is an interoceanic route that manages to communicate the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean, the canal crosses Panama in its narrowest part, to cross it the ships must pass three sets of locks that level the amount of water in one section to another to accompany the passage. The Canal is a huge engineering work that contributes more than 100 years to world trade, reducing time and costs for entrepreneurs.
