Nowadays, bird watching has become a popular pastime. And it is logical; the birds fascinate us with their beauty, their courtship rituals, their songs and their antics. But also, you can teach us important lessons about life.
the parrot, belongs to the family of psittacidae birds that includes parrots, macaws, parrots, parakeets, and related forms, live in tropical areas, but the largest populations are native to Australasia, South America and Central America .
They are good flyers, the color of their feather is very variable, although a great majority are green, others are blue, yellow or red, have a peak with a characteristic curvature, with the upper jaw that has a slight mobility where it joins with the Skull, which allows them to be skilful climbers in branches and trees; his posture is generally upright.
They possess a great cranial capacity, being one of the most intelligent groups of birds, reason why many species can imitate the human voice and other sounds. It is estimated that the parrot can live from 25 to 30 years of age, although, in general, it lives less in captivity.
My first pet was a parrot, a pet not very common for a girl 7 years old. Really a first sight was not very nice, was once more affectionate, but I was not surprised by the gift that my father had given me that had a lot of emotion. I had brought it from afar (Amazonas). My mother and I named him loreta, quickly the mejía, the head, the education and became a member of the family until the trips that could not be separated from my beloved pet that was never in captivity.
Birds do extraordinary things without the help of human beings and that their capacity is due to the wisdom of God, not to our own.
Whether we like it or not, animals are part of our lives and we are accountable for the way we treat them as well as we did with 8 people in the crowd of animals of all classes that we have to take into account that there are that respect and take care of the life of each of them.
