Maximum flora cannot develop if the temperature falls underneath 6°C or the soil is frozen for consecutive months. thus many areas are mistaken for crop cultivation.
Rainfall
Water is obviously a key factor in plant growth. The greater the average temperature the greater the amount of water required for plant growth. Seasonal variation is important as different crops require water at different times.

Rice is the principal crop in the tropics because it requires substantial quantities of water, is a very high yield crop and has good nutritional value. With the addition of consistently high temperatures it can also produce two or three crops a year.
Soil
Soil type will affect crop cultivation because one of a kind plants decide on distinct soils.Clay soils with their excessive water retention are properly ideal to rice whilst sandy soils with top drainage are true for root vegetables.Soil type may be prompted via the enter of lime, clay or fertilizer but this will most effective make confined differences.

Wheat is grown on more land vicinity than some other food crop (220.4 million hectares, 2014).international exchange in wheat is more than for all different crops combined.In 2016, world manufacturing of wheat was 749 million tonnes, making it the second most-produced cereal after maize. when you consider that 1960, global manufacturing of wheat and different grain plants has tripled and is predicted to grow further thru the center of the twenty first century.worldwide call for for wheat is increasing because of the precise relativistic and adhesive houses of gluten proteins, which facilitate the production of processed meals, whose consumption is growing because of the worldwide industrialization procedure and the westernization of the diet.
Wheat is also a famous source of animal feed, specifically in years wherein harvests are adversely suffering from rain and vast portions of the grain are made fallacious for food use. Such low-grade grain is frequently used by enterprise to make adhesives, paper components, several other merchandise or even within the manufacturing of alcohol.
