Greetings friends, on this Thursday of forces of nature I want to tell you about one of the stories that the blibia tells about a natural catastrophe that God sent as a trial to two cities whose names are very popular.

Sodom and Gomorrah

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is found in Genesis 19. The Bible says that God was angry for the life of immorality that they carried in these two cities. In their time, they were great cities that attracted people from all sides for their popular debauchery, if you wanted to live the crazy life in the time of Abraham, those two cities were the best option.

The bible tells that the messengers that God sent to Lot told him that they had to get out of there because the clamor against these cities was so great that he went up to God and He had sent them to destroy them (Genesis 19:13). When the sun rises that day of the escape of Lot and his family, the Bible says that fire fell from the sky that completely destroyed those two cities and the smoke of them rose like the smoke of a furnace (Genesis 19: 24-28). Undoubtedly an impredent accent that marked the history of the world to such an extent that we still talk about it.

Recently a group of American archaeologists claimed to have found the ruins of these two ancient cities in the Valley of the Jordan hub of Tall el-Hammam, since the characteristics fit perfectly with the descriptions found in the bible about Sodom and Gomorrah. In addition they managed to notice that the life of said city came to an abrupt end and that land lasted 700 years without producing life.

Well friends, that's all for today, see you tomorrow, enter the entrance of the Celestial Challenge. By the way, Lot's wife became a statue of salt for disobeying the order "do not look back", the moral of today is: do not turn to look at the past, you can be petrified in a present that is tied to the old and that has no future. Always remember this:

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17

Regards.

I still imagine how it was for them seeing fire coming from the skies. Today's world is getting worst than Sodom and Gomorrah, the end is getting closer.

You are absolutely right, the end of everything is very close. It is time to approach God.

We are new creation. I hope everyone will thrive in the faith.

I hope this too.
