Rimba Pase/Pase Forest.

Hutan yang berbatasan langsung dengan pemukiman masyarakat terpencil di beberapa kecamatan baik di Aceh utara maupun Bener Meriah tersebut merupakan salah satu belantara tropis yang cukup luas, bahkan dulu menjadi salah satu hutan yang sangat di takuti oleh Tentara Nasional Indonesia untuk memburu para pemberontak yang bersembunyi di kawasan hutan tersebut, jurang yang curam, cakupan wilayah yang cukup luas tentu saja menjadi pilihan terbaik bagi para gerilyawan untuk menerapkan taktik perang gerilya di kawasan tersebut saat masa konflik dulu.

Ini kali kedua kami merambah Rimba Pase, kali pertama cuaca mendung dan hujan, alam tidak bersahabat, object yang ingin di abadikan tidak begitu puas hasilnya.

Dendam kesumat saya memang menjadi-jadi mengingat pada petualangan pertama kami ke sini sedikit mengecewakan kala itu.
Tiba disebuah pemukiman yang kami lewati, sejenak saya dan beberapa kerabat berhenti untuk menyaksikan keindahan alam yang mulai tampak, Rimba pase masih diselimuti embun pagi, keindahan gugusan bukit barisan terlihat jelas dari sini, pemukiman tersebut berada di desa Sukadamai Kecamatan Geureudong Pase, Aceh Utara.

Meski tujuan kami ingin mendapatkan sunrise pagi itu, kami sempat lupa dengan sunrise, kami terjebak dalam pemandangan alam yang sangat indah, dan kemana mata memandang, kehijauan alam diselimuti embun pagi, udara sejuk, bersamaan kicauan burung bersahutan, tanpa terasa kami terlena dalam balutan kesejukan Rimba pase di pagi itu.

@levycore kembali memberi peringatan dari kejauhan, seakan tergesa dengan momentum yang ingin disaksikannya, namun dua kerabat lainnya @my451r dan @abieikram ternyata menemukan pandangan alam yang juga tak kalah indah di lokasi yang sama, hanya saja bersebelahan, yang satu di sebelah sisi timur dan sisi satunya lagi sebelah barat.

Saya menyapa kedua kerabat saya tersebut, namun bukannya saya bergegas untuk berangkat, saya kembali melihat keindahan alam yang tersembunyi di Rimba pase, tentu saja saya tidak akan melewatkannya, ini keindahan yang menakjubkan, dari posisi ini perkebunan sawit yang tampak disepanjang kaki pegunungan Sala seakan memperjelas, Deforestasi telah merubah wujud sebagian hutan Rimba pase yang dikenal tropis.
Setelah mengambil beberapa object akhirnya saya dan kerabat berangkat ke lokasi yang di sebutkan oleh kurator Indonesia tadi, dimana sunrise akan tampak jelas dari sudut pengambilan gambar yang pas. Setiba di lokasi tersebut kami kecewa, mentari sudah melalui masa indahnya menyinari alam, kami melewatkan moment dimana mentari muncul disisi gunung Geureudong, pagi itu kami gagal lagi.

Bebatuan, baik besar maupun kecil tampak memenuhi aliran sungai, seakan mereka bersuka ria menerima derasnya aliaran sungai dari hulu menuju hilir, Sungai yang berada di tengah areal perkebunan sawit itu bernama “Kreung Pase”, saya dan para kerabatpun memanfaatkan moment ini sebaik mungkin, object yang jarang terexplore itu menjadi hadiah terbaik menggantikan sunrise yang tidak kami dapatkan di pagi itu, nah steemian itulah cerita kami suatu ketika berada di Rimba Pase, Aceh-Indonesia.
