Among the options you can find are:
Play sound: Regardless of the volume you had set, your smartphone will sound for 5 minutes. This option is very practical to find your equipment in case you do not remember where you left it.
Block: This feature will remotely lock your device with a password or PIN to prevent a third party from accessing your data.
Delete: This option will remotely delete all your information, as well as applications, files and user data. If you get to do this, you will not be able to locate it, but your information will be secure.
IOS
The device of the Apple brand have two blocking features: "Search my iPhone" and "Activation lock". The first one allows you to track the last known location of your computer, while the other will protect all your information and turn your phone unusable in case it falls into the wrong hands. For these options you only need your Apple ID and your password.
Go to "Find my iPhone", "Settings", enter your "Apple ID" and choose the device you are using.
In case you do not have any Apple equipment to follow these steps, you can log in to icloud.com/find from any PC.
In both cases there will always be the option to call the telephone company to block access to the mobile network and the SIM card.
