RE: Will Social Media Pivot Onto Decentralized Platforms?

in #censorship7 years ago

I think all opinions, thought, and ideas have value. We can all learn from one another. Even if someone is offended by a certain idea, as a wise man once said "Facts don't care about your feelings". Which is why I believe in the blockchain. It is a permanent record of everyone's ideas. And puts the power into the hands of the viewers. Content of value and quality is determined based on the person watching. It was the censorship of YouTube that sent me to Steemit. Had they not have done so I may have never found D.Tube, so for that I am thankful. Also content that may be of no value to one person, may be a gold mine to another. All content, covering a vast array of topics should be available to those who come looking. One may want to learn about crypto, another may want life advice, someone may want enjoy a great vlog.. and variety is the spice of life!
